In Gainesville, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Florida, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–5 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (866) 203-9042. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Gainesville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Gainesville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

From the time that you walk in the door, you feel comfortable and relaxed. Yolanda greets you with a smile and knows your name. The business manager runs a well organized schedule. No delays! Dr. Vairo is thorough, experienced, and kind. He makes sure you are never in pain. My hygienist p, Jessica, is lovely and also has a great smile. She makes sure you are comfortable, explains what she is doing and why, and she has a kind manner. Marche, Denis and Diana review your bill, and, once again, give you smiles. It’s a truly a warm and inviting practice. environment.

Santa Fe Family Dentist is the best. They always take good care of me. They are kind and always ensure I am comfortable. My Dental hygienist Misue is the best. I can tell she really is passionate about her job. She enjoys helping people and really wants everyone to feel happy and healthy. She never judged me when I needed to get on a treatment plan to restore my gums back to a healthy level. She does a thorough job and even double checks her work! 10 out of 10 recommend!

I have been coming to Santa Fe Family Dental for many years now. Every single person that works with me is fantastic! There was a point when my insurance stopped using them as a provider and I felt all my dental dreams come crashing down. But so many people complained that the insurance started to use them again. I would 1000% recommend Santa Fe dental for anyone who’s looking for an incredible dentist.
